Nursing Dress

Hi everyone!
One year since my last post!! These months have been really challenging : third baby, a lot of Church, sewing and crafting projects. Well, I must admit blogging here was not the best priority according to me. But here I am again with a lot of creations that need to be introduced to you.
First will be this dress : Several months ago, I was tempted to buy some nursing clothes like this dress from mamanana or this top. They are sooo gorgeous but I realised I could make these clothes myself. So this is the result!

Une année est déjà passée depuis mon dernier article!! Ces mois ont été plein de challenges : bébé numéro 3, beaucoup de projets en bricolage, couture et pour l'église. Et bien, je dois l'admettre, poster ici ne faisait pas partie de mes priorités. Mais me revoici avec une tonne de réalisations à vous montrer!
Pour commencer, cette robe : Il y a quelques mois, j'ai été fortement tenté par l'achat de vêtements d'allaitement comme cette robe ou ce haut. Ils sont magnifiques mais j'ai réalisé qu'il m'était possible de les réaliser moi-même. Alors voici le résultat!

Pattern and/or tutorial : none, I just used a dress and a top I like to draw the pattern lines
Patron et/ou tuto : Bidouillé à partir d'une robe et d'un haut existant

Fabric and supplies : nice jersey fabric from EuroTissus (France)
Tissu et matériel : jersey (milano?) de EuroTissus (Villabé -91)

Result : This fabric was so easy to cut and sew and I used a twin needle for the first time : It definitely gives a "kind of" professionnal finish result. No longer need to think about buying a serger/overlock machine... well, for the moment!
Résultat : Ce tissu était très facile à couper et coudre et j'ai utilisé pour la première fois une aiguille double. Le résultat est vraiment sympa et donne un petit côté "professionnel". Je suis satisfaite!

Sewing for the kids # 1 : SUMMER DRESSES

I love to sew for me, yes! However, I love to sew for my kiddos as well. When my friend gave me this nice fabric, I immediately wanted to make this!

Project  : Summer dresses for sweet little girls
Projet : Robes d'été pour petites filles adorables


Pattern/ Patron : "Intemporels pour bébés"

Fabric and supplies : Nice printed cotton fabric coming from US 
Tissu et matériel : Joli tissu imprimé provenant des Etats Unis

Result : I want to make something else with this terrific fabric but this is impossible! No fabric left now!
Résultat : Je voudrais faire encore autre chose avec ce tissu! Tout simplement impossible, le métrage était insuffisant!

Refashion # 1 : RUFFLED CARDIGAN

This is one of the first refashion projects I made a long time ago now.
Really simple to make :
1. Cut in the middle front of your sweater
2. Make ruffles with extra fabric
3. Sew these to both sides of your new cardigan.
I like the result but I would like to make the same project on another sweater (another one that actually fits to me!)

Voici un de mes 1ers projets de transfo de vêtements réalisé il y a longtemps. Je l'ai trouvé très simple à faire :
1. Découper au milieu du devant du pull
2. Froncer deux bandes de tissus
3. Les coudre aux deux pans du nouveau cardigan.
J'aime le résultat mais j'aimerai renouveler ce projet sur un pull moins moulant et plus à ma taille!
A suivre peut être!

JEWEL CRAFT : Leather bow Accessories

Hi everyone!
Thanks to Pinterest I discovered so many DIY tutorials and all these ideas from all around the world expanded my inspiration. So thankful for that!

These leather bow bracelets are sooo lovely, I couldn't help myself : I wanted to make some as soon as I found these tutorials on Pinterest!!
So, here are the results for what I made! I love these little jewels, and so simple to make!!

Voici 2 tutos que j'ai essayé et que je vous recommande : ici et là.
J'ai craqué dès l'instant où je suis tombé dessus!
Voici donc les résultats de mes créations, j'adore ces petits accessoires et c'est si simple à faire!

Babystuff DIY # 1 : BABYSLING

Babywearing! I love this! I babycarried from the birth of my first child and I tried several kind of babywearing tools : babywrap, sling, sarong...I wanted to make one and I found a nice fabric here : perfect to make a sling...

Project  : Babysling
Projet : Porte bébé Sling

Tutorial : I used the tutorial from this book "Créations maternage"
Tuto : Tuto du livre "Créations Maternage"

Fabric and supplies : Cotton cloth (twill) and sling rings from Arbrinic
Tissu et matériel : Sergé croisé (ou brisé?) det sling rings de la boutique Arbrinic

Result : I love it! I often  use it for short babycarrying as it is very practical. But i have to say it hurts if I carry my baby for a long time with it. My JPMBB wrap is better for long babycarrying!
Résultat : Je l'adore! Je l'utilise souvent pour du portage court car elle est très pratique.Si je la porte trop longtemps, mon épaule me fait mal. Il faut avouer que le poids est mal réparti comparée à une écharpe de portage. Mon écharpe JPMBB est plus adaptée pour des portages longs.

Sewing for women # 1 : BLACK CARDIGAN

The first sewing creation I will introduce to you is a black cardigan. I often fall in love with some nice clothes when strolling in stores : that day, a "relaxed fit" (as they call it) black cardigan caught my eye at Mango! I wanted it but didn't want to spend money for it so.... TADAM! Made it!

Le premier projet couture que je vais vous présenter est un cardigan noir ample. Lors de mes petites promenades dans les magasins, je tombe souvent amoureuse de certains vetements sympas. ce jour-là, j'ai remarqué un cardigan noir ample chez Mango! Je le voulais mais sans dépenser un sou alors.... TADAM! je l'ai fait!

Project  : make a relaxed fit black cardigan according to the one I saw at Mango
Projet : coudre un cardigan ample sur le modèle du cardigan Mango

Pattern and/or tutorial : I had no pattern so I used a cardigan I have to cut the pieces of fabric. For the long tails, with my own inspiration!
Patron et/ou tuto : Je n'avais pas de patron donc j'ai utilisé un cardigan que j'ai pour couper les pièces de tissu... pour les longs pans, au feeling!

Fabric and supplies : I had a black jersey fabric awaiting for a sewing project... More than 6 months it was there in the cupboard!
Tissu et matériel : j'avais un tissu noir en jersey synthétique qui attendait avec impatience un projet couture rien que pour lui... Plus de 6 mois qu'il était là dans le placard!

Result : I found it difficult and annoying to cut the jersey fabric but it ended well. I'd like to make another one and this time, I will use the other side of the fabric as the right side because this side i used is a so dust-sticky kind one!
Résultat : J'ai trouvé la découpe des tissus fort difficile et désagréable mais ça donne bien au final. la prochaine fois, j'utiliserai l'envers du tissu pour l'extérieur car l'endroit n'arrête pas d'attirer la poussière!

Next time I'll make one like this, I might do a tutorial but this depends on your interest in it!
